Did You Know?
New York Times

Prescott College students, staff, and faculty have electronic access to the New York Times! To setup your annual pass, go to our article database page and scroll down to the New York Times Pass link. After connecting this pass to a current or new account, you will have full access to the New York Times (with just a couple exceptions...like the Sunday Crossword). Enjoy!
InterLibrary Loan
If Prescott College Library doesn't own an article, log in to our Interlibrary Loan System to request and track articles, books (on-campus only) and book chapters from other libraries. The first time you log in, you will need to create an account using your library barcode number. You will then use your barcode number and the password you created to access interlibrary loan in the future. For more information click here.
The Writing Center
The Writing Center is available for both on-campus and low-residency students. On-campus student can come in and sign up for a time slot right at the Writing Center (downstairs in the Library). Low-residency students can email their papers right to: writingcenter@prescott.edu. The Writing Center will help you improve your writing with valuable insights and suggestions. They are not an editing service, so do not expect them to go through and correct all of your grammatical errors. Rather, they provide students a comfortable, non-judgmental space in which to explore new writing strategies and get constructive feedback.

Choosing the Right Citation Manager
The main difference between Flow and RefWorks is related to workflow -- RefWorks supports the referencing and citing workflow, Flow supports referencing and citing as well as reading, annotating, and collaborating on research papers.  Flow focuses on full-text documents and collaboration, RefWorks focuses on references and citations. To see the difference, click here
Proquest Flow
Still using RefWorks? You might be interested in switching to Flow. Both Flow and RefWorks are owned by ProQuest, but Flow has a much more streamlined and intuitive design...it is like RefWorks 2.0. You can even import your entire RefWorks library into Flow...check it out:
